Great burger type food and appetizers, good drink specials, live music, and always smoke free interior. One of the few places to go and hear live music and still breathe in Austin. It's motorcycle themed but is not a rough place, staff is curteous and the decor is upscale.
Closed Mondays.
Mr. Natural Mexican Vegetarian Food
1901 East Cesar Chavez 512-477-5228
Truly the most interesting and tasty food around. Very clean, comfortable atmosphere, great prices. Full-service bakery as well as home-made items for take-home in the "health food" section of the restaurant, which is attached. All bakery items made free of animal ingredients except for honey, am sure they would work with you and prepare items with unbleached cane sugar if given advance notice. Food is very delicious and unique. A must! Best place to eat in Austin, TX. There is an outside patio but am not sure if it is also smokefree, never see anyone eating out there, then again it's 112 degrees here!
thanks to Kate Wilson-Prather!
Thai Noodles etc...House
2602 Guadalupe (512) 494-1011
(behind the 7-Eleven store)
Serves breakfast until 3 pm most days. Open at least until 10, but not sure exact hours.
7 days/week--very, very reasonably priced. Casual dress, formal, mixed dining atmosphere.
Excellent food unless you're a pure vegan: We ate a vegan dish there and found meat in it,
which was a let-down, but for non-vegans and non-smokers, this place would be great.
Thanks to Kate Wilson-Prather!

SAN ANTONIO
Cappycino's
5005 Broadway 210 828 6860
As you may know, the San Antonio City Council did pass a watered
down smoking ban, but it doesn't apply to bars. The good news is, I've
found a smoke-free bar!
Cappycino's is an upscale bar and restaurant on Broadway with a very nice
patio. It has a fully stocked bar with premium beers on tap! It doesn't
have a web page, but there is a review here:
