Ahlstroms Restaurant

It is really tough to find non-smoking venues (much
less smoke free!) in Goteborg. Even the tourist information
staff, who are normally very helpful, were at a loss. Our
hotel manager (Hotel Eggers) referred us to Ahlstroms.
Non-smoking inside dining room. Prices are consistent with
quality. We had a fixed price menu for 350SK (about $34 at
the time) but it was well worth it. You need to take the ferry
from Goteborg; it's a 20 minute ride.

We have discovered that the nicer restaurants and restaurants in hotels that
cater to Americans are usually the most likely candidates
for a smoke free meal.

Cafeteria style with smokefree sections, overlooking the Gothenburg Royal Yacht Club
Reasonably priced Swedish food.
Most of the place is smoke-free, smoking section partitioned.
Outside terrace usually has smokers, but if you're downwind...
