Located in the State Capital area of downtown Raleigh, this charming storefront restaurant is worth an out of your way trip. It has all of the quality and behavior of an upscale establishment but not as pricey. It appears they accomplish this by keeping their menu limited. It has but a dozen pasta dishes and only four other entrees. An antipasto and salad combination could be an excellent, economical light meal. I had an interesting salad (warm goat cheese with walnuts and greens) and a Linguini Fra Diavolo (with shrimp in spicy tomato sauce). Many Fra Diavolo dishes tend to be spicier than todayÕs taste buds like. This one was as merciful as it was flavorful.
