Not all Red Robins are smokefree. This one went smokefree recently; the owner also runs the Red Robin in Neshaminy, which is also now smokefree inside. Red Robin is a T.G.I.Friday's-like place, with gourmet burgers and trendy entrees and salads. Besides bottomless soft drinks, their fries are bottomless, and so is their strawberry lemonade (with strawberries in the drink). The lavish desserts are a bit pricey, but otherwise the meals run about average for this type of restaurant. Service is very friendly. Not sure if there's a bar, but they have beer, wine and mixed drinks.

Vickers Tavern
Corner of East Welsh Pool Rd. & Gordon Dr.
Vickers Tavern, ahead of the times, went smoke free in July of 2005. It is one of the few places in Chester County that is smoke free. They feature creative American cuisine in a cozy and historic atmosphere. Excellent service, superb food and business casual attire make this a must try. There is live piano music on Friday and Saturday nights from 7:30 to 11:00 in the tavern room. They are open for lunch Monday thru Friday 11:30-2:30. Dinner is served Monday thru Saturday 5:30 -9:30. There is a pleasantly shaded seasonal brick patio where smoking is allowed. For larger groups looking for a special place to hold an event the beautiful banquet room can accommodate 120 with a dance floor and 140 without. Check out the website to get a virtual tour of some of the rooms and to view menus. The property dates back to 1823 when John Vickers made this property his home; a Quaker, potter and abolitionist, this house was once a stop on the Underground Railroad and his place of business.
