The number of smokefree restaurants here has grown rapidly over the past decade - about one fifth were smokefree in September of 2000. The cities with the most smokefree restaurants are Grand Rapids, Traverse City and Ann Arbor. Listings are definitely still welcome, but perhaps eventually Michigan, like California, will be a state where you can find a smokefree meal anywhere. Bars and clubs are yet to come. We look forward to the day when we can just say "it's all smokefree, why bother?"
