"New Southern" cuisine, in a quiet residential neighborhood at beautiful Chastain Park, less than four miles from the shopping district of Buckhead, and only twenty minutes from downtown.
Elegant atmosphere (business casual dress suggested).
The entire main dining area AND BAR are smokefree. They do allow smoking outdoors,
and in a separate dining room on the lower level, if a private party books it
for that purpose. They have two private dining rooms seating up to 50.

the dining area or the bar. There is a lounge, through which
you must walk to enter, where smoking *is* permitted.
The staff say that they get maybe a few smokers a week.

Music! A converted barbershop in the Atlanta suburb of Conyers, maybe 12' wide, but very deep, with a balcony section. Great acoustics from the marble walls. About $2 for the house coffee, about $6 (IIRC) for a chicken salad sandwich. Admission for Deirdre's gig was $8 (again, IIRC). Showcases local talent like Andy Offut Irwin, 3 Weird Sisters, and Carla Ulbrich, as well as Philadelphia's Deirdre Flint. Bottled beer is available (price unknown, I was driving).
